Gothic Fashion


The October issue of Vogue Italia features a sort of a black widow-harlequin look. The models were dressed in see-through black lace with diamond patters, chiffon and long evening gloves. They also used black balloons and grapes as accessories.

Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin was born 1st March 1812 and died 14th September 1852. He was an English architect, designer, artist and critic, remembered for his significant role in the Gothic Revival style; his work culminated in the interior design and "Big Ben" clock tower of the Palace of Westminster. Pugin designed many churches in England, and some in Ireland and Australia.
